Fotografia Ultrabanale è un modo per descrivere una fotografia del quotidiano, fatta di piccole cose, di quotidianità. Spesso sottovalutata e snobbata dai fotografi, una fotografia a cui spesso non viene assegnato il rango di fotografia verso la quale vale la pena di soffermarsi con una macchina fotografica, Ultrabanale é una fotografia che invece ha avuto illustri esempi del passato e del presente. Un linguaggio agli antipodi della fotografia wow, ormai inflazionata, scattata al bambino indigeno dell'altra parte del mondo. In genere la fotografia definita Ultrabanale è paragonata alla foto ricordo destinata a disperdersi nella polvere digitale delle immagini da cui siamo bombardati. Al contrario, Ultrabanale è un modo di fotografare che, se capito ed interiorizzato, da vita a Fotografia con la F maiuscola, non a fotografia casuale. Studiata nelle forme, nei colori, nella luce, é una fotografia meditata che fa capire che belle ed interessanti immagini si possono realizzare all'angolo di casa senza la necessità di fare grandi viaggi, basta saper "vedere" con occhi diversi, attenti ai particolari e curiosi di esplorare ciò che ci circonda senza sovrastrutture.
Io sono stato a Rimini per un importante workshop su questo genere di fotografia, in un fine settimana di inizio aprile dal sapore estivo in cui Rimini mi è sembrato che si preparasse ad un'estate che sembrava alle porte, e in queste immagini ho cercato di raccontare utilizzando quello stile Ultrabanale che tanto amo.

Generally, the photography defined Ultrabanal is compared to the souvenir photo destined to be dispersed in the digital dust of the images with which we are bombarded. On the contrary, Ultrabanal is a way of photography that, if understood and internalized, gives life to Photography with a capital F, it is not to casual photography. It is studied in the shapes, in the colors, in the light, it is a thoughtful photography that makes us understand that beautiful and interesting images can be created in the corner of your home without the need to make long journeys, you just need to know how to "see" with different eyes, paying attention to details and curious to explore what surrounds us without superstructures.
I was in Rimini for an important workshop about this kind of photography, in a weekend of early April with a summery flavor where Rimini seemed to me that it was preparing for a summer that seemed to be coming and in these images I tried to tell it with the Ultrabanale style that I love so much.
